The universe, vast and ancient, stretches into unfathomable darkness at its edge. What lies beyond this shadowy frontier? Where do we come from, and where are we bound? For millennia, humanity has sought answers to these questions. Two thousand years from now, Earth has undergone astonishing technological progress, its civilization intertwined with the fabric of the cosmos. Driven by the imperative to protect their home, Earth's people embark on interstellar campaigns. Yet, what secrets remain concealed in this universe? What worlds exist beyond the Milky Way? In the year 2170, Japan's Self-Defense Forces violated the treaties of World War II, launching a surprise attack on the northeastern territories of China. The reason I began writing this novel is that my mind has been in turmoil lately, and, truth be told, I’ve had too much free time on my hands. I wanted to find something to occupy myself. I’m currently still in university, majoring in character design.
Although this book has only just begun, I can honestly say I’ve poured all my heart and soul into it. Given my own limited imagination, many of the settings are inspired by some of my favorite existing works—books, online games, and films.
I have a general direction in mind for the story, but that alone is not enough. The more I write, the more I realize how hollow the narrative feels; every towering structure is built brick by brick. Sometimes, as I sit down to write, I feel lost and wish I had someone to talk to. That’s why I need timely feedback from readers—to let me know where I may have gone astray.
Those in the midst of things are often blind to their own errors, while bystanders see clearly. I take every comment and piece of encouragement from readers to heart.
I don’t have grand expectations for this novel; I only hope that, at the very beginning of my journey as a novice writer, there will be at least one or two readers interested in my story. If even a handful of people enjoy it, I will see it through to the end and do my utmost to improve, striving to present a good book for everyone.
So, I hope that in these early stages, I won’t feel like I’m struggling alone. Every increase in views brings me comfort—I won’t ask for any rewards from you. But if you occasionally recommend my work
