Just as Xius was feeling puzzled, a vertical purple line suddenly appeared directly in front of him. Before he could make sense of it, the line slowly opened, revealing a massive vertical pupil staring back at him. Immediately afterward, a cool, refreshing sensation swept through his entire body.
