Upon seeing that he had acquired a ring, Chen Qi frowned. He already wore the [Steadfast Youth] ring, which was a small, green-tier treasure—meaning that replacing it might not offer much improvement. He glanced at the ring’s attributes.

......
Chen Qi summoned the [Ring of Bee Blood]. It was a dark red ring, faintly exuding a bloody scent, its polished surface gleaming. The gemstone embedded within reflected the visage of the Blood God Bee.
Unwilling to give up, Chen Qi tried to equip the ring. To his surprise, he encountered no restrictions. Once equipped, the blade in his hand felt lighter, and his swordplay seemed sharper.
After consulting the ‘Sprout Space’, Chen Qi discovered that rings, necklaces, and earrings were all classified as accessories. At his current tier, he could equip up to three accessories at once, regardless of type.
This answered a lingering question—according to some games, rings and necklaces were one thing, but did a grown man really need to wear earrings?
Besides, his ears weren’t pierced. Would ‘Sprout Space’ offer him a free piercing?

At that moment, the ‘Sprout Space’ notification put his worries to rest. Chen Qi gently rubbed the ring a few times, then turned his gaze to the scroll radiating a faint purple light.

.......
After considering it, Chen Qi decided against repairing the incomplete scroll. Not only did it require a hefty 5000 Universal Points, but the skills gained would remain uncertain. Furthermore, any skill upgrades would consume additional points, slowing his progress.
He still owed someone 5000 Universal Points.
As for the two usage methods, Chen Qi frowned at the 3.17% probability, feeling a faint itch of temptation.
Every young man believes himself unique, and his selection by ‘Sprout Space’ seemed to confirm his destiny as the chosen one.
He shook his head with a bitter smile. Reason prevailed, and he abandoned the nebulous odds, glancing instead at his skill panel.
At the bottom of his skill panel sat the attributes for Blood Arrow Technique.
Truth be told, Chen Qi regretted his impulsive decision to learn this so-called exclusive skill. Though Blue quality, it seemed merely a dirty trick, unable to bolster his already lacking direct combat arsenal.
The golden sword aura emitted by Old Red remained distant, and Chen Qi knew nothing of how to elevate his skills to that level.
His thoughts raced, and he made up his mind.
[Yes/No: Use the Knowledge Skill Scroll, Blood God Technique: Volume III (Incomplete), to enhance an existing skill.]

Without further hesitation, Chen Qi chose to proceed, selecting [Blood Arrow Technique] as the skill to enhance.
Instantly, the faint red manual in his storage transformed into a streak of fire, its inscriptions whispering to him.
Only then did Chen Qi notice a problem: he had never actually read the manual—it appeared to be readable...
Before he could feel regret, his vision rippled; when he regained his senses, he witnessed the following scene:
A mountain hut stood amidst the hills. The mountain wind carried not freshness, but a faint scent of blood.
Beside the hut sat a white-haired youth, a strange blood-red mark upon his brow, his pupils deep as a crimson abyss.
The youth suddenly closed his eyes, muttering something under his breath. After a moment, he opened them, producing from nowhere a comatose giant python. With a flick of his finger, threads of red connected his body to the serpent’s. The python’s dark scales gradually turned crimson, its once-round head sharpening.
Suddenly, the serpent awoke, its slit pupils bloodthirsty, its body convulsing violently.
Aware of the nearby human, it spat forth a streak of bloody mist, the stench so foul that even the grass beside the hut began to wither.
The white-haired youth did not dodge, but watched with a smile. The blood arrow dissipated before striking, falling onto the grass and spreading a silent death.
Chen Qi stared in astonishment as a flood of information poured into his mind, describing how to brew the venomous blood arrow.
The scene faded. At its end, Chen Qi faintly heard the excited voice of the white-haired youth:
“I, Son of the Blood God, truly am a great inventor. From now on, you shall be called Blood God Python!”
[Blood Arrow Technique has been upgraded]
[Blood Arrow Technique: Modified lv.1]
Skill Effect: Consumes 10 MP and 15% of current HP to spit a blood arrow infused with Blood God venom at the enemy, dealing Constitution x 1.5 damage and inflicting Blood God Poison. Blood God Poison deals 20—60 venom damage (depending on enemy’s constitution and poison resistance), and randomly applies two to five negative status effects (including but not limited to weakness, blindness, dizziness, paralysis, bleeding, etc.)
Note: Skill cooldown is 10 minutes. Can be forcibly used during cooldown, but effect is halved and cooldown resets.
Reading the lengthy skill description, Chen Qi’s heart was filled with joy. He couldn’t resist joking in the style of sensational headlines:
“Shocking! The more you spit, the thinner the poison becomes!”
He closed his eyes, attempting to calm his excitement, but his blood seemed to surge uncontrollably, banishing all sleep.
Chen Qi opened his eyes, sighed theatrically, took out a unit of Black Jade Royal Jelly, and downed it in one gulp, still muttering to himself:
“Are we young people afraid of staying up all night?”
