In the blink of an eye, the rider landed.

Due to the sharpness of the turn, the tires emitted a piercing screech, and visible sparks sprayed outward.

What was he doing? Was he just passing by? Or something else?

This stylish entrance made Su Jinyao momentarily forget the impending danger. Before she could process it, the distance between them closed rapidly.

"Get out of the way, it’s dangerous!" Su Jinyao shouted; she didn't want to drag an innocent person into this.

Seeing no reaction, she sensed he hadn't realized her predicament, so she made a bold decision. Before they converged, she would intentionally crash. Given their relative speeds, it shouldn't affect him as he rode normally.

She was still too kind, thinking of others even at the brink of death.

Her lips curled slightly into a smile of despair. Just as she prepared to hit the brakes, the figure ahead turned his back to her, stretched out his arm, and gave a thumbs-up.

Did he know her situation? Was he here to save her? But she hadn't told anyone she was participating in the "Masked" motorcycle race.

In a daze, they were inches apart. The moment their speeds synchronized, she felt a lightness beneath her feet, and in the next second, she was seated on his motorcycle, held firmly in his arms.

At that exact moment, the rider executed a rapid drift, pivoted the bike, and slowly decelerated to a stop.

How did he manage that at such speed? Su Jinyao was stunned. Meanwhile, her BMW motorcycle had long since lost its balance and tumbled over the cliffside.

Aside from his astonishment, Tang Lei was furious. At that moment, he saw the man turn his back to him and hold up his arm, making a "stop" gesture. After that, he immediately revved the throttle and sped off.

This infuriated Tang Lei; he had never been so insulted in his life. He immediately gave chase.

Soon, Tang Lei caught up. "Damn it, acting cool on a domestic piece-of-trash CFMOTO 250SR and ruining my fun? Once I catch you, I’ll break your legs!"

Despite his words, Tang Lei soon realized things weren't that simple. Although his bike far outperformed the one in front, the other rider hugged the inner corners so tightly that every time he was about to overtake on a straightaway, he was left far behind again in the curves. Especially since the straight sections on the mountain were extremely short, he simply couldn't catch up.

Su Jinyao’s heart hammered. Every time they rounded a corner, it felt like they were about to crash, yet they drifted through perfectly. Occasionally, she could feel small stones from the cliff walls pelting her helmet.

Just like that, the two motorcycles—with a price difference of over 400,000—soon reached the foot of the mountain. Because the mountain road below was gentler and the straightaways were longer, Tang Lei caught up quickly.

He gave a sinister smile and pulled a baseball bat from behind his back. "You little brat, you asked for this!"

Su Jinyao saw Tang Lei’s actions in the rearview mirror and was terrified. She wanted to warn him, but they were both wearing helmets, and she couldn't even lift her head from his embrace.

As Tang Lei drew closer, he raised the bat above his head and swung.

"Ah!" She squeezed her eyes shut.

There was another screech of tires. Su Jinyao opened her eyes. Why were they flying? Looking closer, she realized they had cleared the guardrail and surged outward.

"Hold on tight."

It was the first time she heard him speak; his voice was steady and powerful, as if everything that had just happened was perfectly normal.

They landed on rugged, steep terrain. The violent shaking forced Su Jinyao to lean forward and cling tightly to the motorcycle. Standing on the road above, Tang Lei had expected them to fall to their deaths; he never imagined they would get away.

He immediately pulled out his walkie-talkie. "Listen up, those of you at the bottom! A CFMOTO 250SR is coming your way—block them!"

Clicking off the radio, Tang Lei cursed viciously. "Damn it, think you can fly? I know there’s no road at the very bottom. Let’s see how you fly then! I’ll throw you off the top of the mountain myself and see if you can fly then!"

As they returned to the mountain road, their speed slowed. She reached up to take off her helmet, partly to get some air and partly because she wanted to see who this superhero was.

Who else could it be? Liu Dong, of course.

Liu Dong felt like he had just stretched his muscles; it was a piece of cake. Back before he crossed over, he had been a mayor's driver—the roads were like his own backyard, and he could drive however he pleased. He would hit 120 km/h daily, weaving through dense traffic without a single accident; his skills were beyond question. As for motorcycles, they were the mayor's wife's hobby. He had spent his days racing with her on winding mountain roads, using those skills to completely mesmerize her before finding a cave to engage in some "special activities"... In short, his riding was smoother than a pro gamer playing *KartRider*.

Before Su Jinyao could remove her helmet, Liu Dong gently pressed it back down, patted her head affectionately, and pointed ahead.

Su Jinyao looked up and saw that the only exit was packed with people. They had lined up their motorcycles, all holding baseball bats, watching them with predatory eyes. She looked left and right; on one side was a stone wall, on the other, a river.

She felt a wave of despair. She regretted her recklessness; for the sake of a thrill, she had been schemed against and had dragged her savior into this. It was such a pity that she still didn't know what her rescuer looked like. She decided that no matter what happened next, she would use everything she had to protect him.

"Ever heard of the Tri-Arrow?"

"Huh? What Tri-Arrow?"

"You don't even know the Tri-Arrow? We’re going to get a room later, and I’m going to punish you properly."

Su Jinyao was bewildered. He was clearly speaking Chinese, yet she couldn't understand a word.

"There’s a rock ahead, get ready to dodge!"

Su Jinyao wondered if he had been scared out of his mind, muttering nonsense and charging straight at the rocks.

"Slow down! Slow down!"

No matter how she shouted, he ignored her, accelerating even faster. She closed her eyes in despair.

"Charge, Tri-Arrow!"

Her body began to tilt. Su Jinyao thought, *It’s over, we’re going to crash.*

But after a moment, she realized the motorcycle was still moving. Her body felt tilted, yet they weren't falling. She opened her eyes and was completely stunned. They were actually speeding along the vertical stone wall.

The people at the exit were frozen in shock. The quicker ones began throwing their baseball bats at them, but it was useless—they were too fast, flashing past, and the bats only struck the stone wall.

As the stone wall ended, they landed and vanished into the vast night.

The night wind carried a hint of chill. The two rode slowly down the deserted street, the motorcycle beginning to emit a "creak, creak" sound. After such high-intensity abuse, it was not far from being scrapped.

Still reeling from the shock, Su Jinyao tightened her grip on her jacket.

"Where are we going?"

"To get a room."

"Huh?"
