In the vastness of space, a massive, heavily scarred monster suddenly opened its eyes. Lin Yu gazed around at the starry expanse, bewildered. Soon, a flood of information—none of it belonging to his original memories—surged into his mind. After some mental digestion, he understood everything.
He had transmigrated—into the Ultraman world!
Though uncertain of the exact Ultraman universe he had entered, he was sure of one thing: he had taken over the body of a monster that was meant to have died. According to the memories in his mind, the monster he had become was Zetton. The original body had suffered severe injuries and the consciousness had been wiped out after encountering temporal turbulence during a cosmic voyage. That was how Lin Yu ended up with this unexpected advantage.

With a goal and destination in mind, and little time to waste, Lin Yu used his geographical knowledge to pinpoint Japan’s location and immediately flew toward Earth.

The Victory Team had just learned about Ultramen and monsters from the ancient human, Yuling. As the team discussed the giants, technician Norui suddenly shouted, “Alert! A powerful energy source is rapidly piercing through the atmosphere, descending at high speed toward Japan!”
The large screen immediately displayed satellite images. There, a black monster with two sharp horns atop its head appeared, its body marked by numerous wounds.
“A monster!” Victory Team leader Kei Ijūin furrowed his brow—another monster had appeared.
“Data shows this injured monster’s stats are very low! If it doesn’t heal soon, it will perish!” Norui assessed from the data.
Just then, the screen split again, revealing a massive monster shaking a valley open, roaring and spreading its wings to take flight—an image from Europe.
At this moment, the protagonist Daigo spoke emotionally: “This is Melba, the monster prophesied to tear the sky apart! The underground monster we encountered earlier was Melba! Yuling was right!”
“But where did this severely injured monster from outer space come from? The prophecy never mentioned it. What does this mean?” Deputy Captain Munakata asked.
Daigo had no answer. He didn’t know the purpose of this unexpected monster.
However, he understood one thing—they needed to find the pyramid. He said, “Forget about the wounded monster for now. Let’s find the pyramid first! According to the prophecy, only by awakening the giant can we defeat Golza and Melba!”

Norui urged everyone to focus on the screen. The distance between the two monsters was rapidly closing.
High above, Lin Yu also spotted traces of a monster ahead. Feeling lucky, he sped toward it.
As he approached, Lin Yu immediately recognized it as Melba, the opening monster from the Diga world.
This realization confirmed his current world and timeline: he had transmigrated into the Diga universe, at a time before Diga himself had awakened.
This discovery brought Lin Yu a measure of relief. With Diga still dormant and TPC’s aircraft equipped only with signal flares, he needn’t fear being eliminated by human weapons or Ultramen before devouring a monster.
Upon recognizing Melba, Lin Yu held back from attacking immediately. Instead, he maintained distance and began scrutinizing the panel displaying his own skills and attributes, preparing to devise a battle plan.
He summoned the panel again, which revealed Zetton’s abilities.
