Volume One, Chapter Seven: The Plan
Page 1/3
In the following time, Lin Yu methodically brought over the Ultramen he had targeted one by one. Using the previously planted prison flame bombs, all those Ultramen were successfully eliminated. Their skills were seamlessly absorbed into Lin Yu’s body, and his status panel received a major update.
[Host: Lin Yu]
[Status: Normal]
[Power Level: Advanced Warrior]
[Skills: Time Traveler (S), Flame Master (A), Mental Master (S), Rare Potential (S), Flight Master (S), Super Strength (A), Energy Expert (A)]
Rare Potential (S): Possesses a destined talent to become a legendary warrior.
Flight Master (S): Increases base movement speed by five times.
Super Strength (A): When attacking, you can temporarily unleash several times your original strength, but energy consumption also doubles.
This time, Lin Yu upgraded his original A-level skill, Excellent Potential, to the S-level skill Rare Potential. Additionally, he acquired one S-level skill and one A-level skill. Although his Rare Potential did not directly boost his power as it had before, Lin Yu clearly felt his physical strength continuously increasing. He estimated that even without further effort, he would become a legendary warrior within a month at most.
The S-level Flight Master and A-level Super Strength were carefully selected to aid his future battles. The Flight Master skill boosted his speed to 40 Mach, five times his original movement speed. This velocity was six times that of the airborne Ultraman Tiga and surpassed the Ultimate Zero who defeated Belial, whose speed was only 35 Mach. In terms of movement speed, Lin Yu found it nearly impossible to find an opponent except for the mysterious Four Ultra Kings.
Although Super Strength was only an A-level skill, Lin Yu appreciated its effect. He could control the Kirielode God, including its energy use, allowing him to convert his entire body’s energy into a powerful strike and then replenish energy through his clones. This skill granted Lin Yu fighting power beyond his own limits.
With these three extraordinary skills, Lin Yu prepared to leave. He had wandered through the Land of Light for quite some time. While he had indeed encountered many useful skills, most Ultramen’s powers were at the legendary warrior level. Even a surprise attack was not guaranteed to succeed. These legendary Ultramen mostly possessed an overpowered S-level skill.
Guardian Bond (S): Having comprehended the power of protection, it triggers an extra spiritual strength when in danger.
This skill made Lin Yu wary. Moreover, the Ultraman King was still present, as were members of the Space Patrol like the First Generation Ultraman and Seven, and Mebius was about to arrive. If Lin Yu continued killing, he would invite trouble from one of these factions. He could run from Mebius, but if the Ultraman King personally took issue with him, escape would be impossible.
Thus, to be safe, Lin Yu decided not to proceed further. More importantly, according to the storyline, Sero would appear next, and Belial along with his hundred monsters would be wiped out. The skills dropped by those monsters carried no risk. Just as Lin Yu made his decision to leave, a beam of light suddenly flew toward him.
Facing the attack, Lin Yu’s S-level Flight Master skill kicked in. A black wing flapped, and the next moment, Lin Yu’s whole figure appeared midair, tens of thousands of meters away from his original location. That was the terrifying speed of 40 Mach.
“Is this monster really that fast?”
Hearing the voice, Lin Yu looked down from midair and saw the figure of the First Generation Ultraman below. Meanwhile, Mebius was flying out of the Land of Light with Seven.
“You beast! You killed so many Ultramen before; I couldn’t act then, but now I will kill you first and stop Belial!”
Hearing the anger, Lin Yu immediately understood that the First Generation Ultraman and others had regained their power through the light protected by Taro. His prior killings had been noticed. The First Generation Ultraman’s first action after regaining strength was not to stop Belial but to come after Lin Yu.
When Lin Yu saw the First Generation, the opponent’s skill panel appeared:
[Name: First Generation Ultraman]
[Status: Normal]
[Power Level: Legendary Warrior]
[Skills: Guardian Bond (S), Rare Potential (S), Light of Faith (SS), Beam Master (S), Combat Expert (S), ...]
Light of Faith (SS): As the source of Ultramen, as long as someone remembers the name Ultraman, he can be resurrected.
Beam Master (S): Possesses great power and talent in beam techniques, enhancing beam skill strength.
Combat Expert (S): Has great power and talent in combat, able to anticipate opponent’s moves in advance.
Seeing the legendary warrior power level on the First Generation’s panel, Lin Yu had no intention of continuing the fight.

All the visible skills were at least S-level, with many A-level skills following, and even an SS-level skill that allowed resurrection as long as Ultraman was remembered. How could he possibly stand against that?
Although Lin Yu had not started fighting, he knew he would be defeated if he did. However, he did not plan to flee immediately. With the Flight Master skill enabling him to fly at 40 Mach and the ability to summon spatial gates for escape at any time, he thought he could afford to show off a little.
“Let me test my current strength!”
With this thought, Lin Yu flapped his black wings and instantly appeared before the First Generation Ultraman. The opponent reacted swiftly, simultaneously raising a defensive barrier.
Faced with the barrier, Lin Yu flapped his wings again and appeared behind the First Generation where no shield was present. His Super Strength began to take effect. Lin Yu channeled all his energy into his fist and delivered a fierce punch to the turning Ultraman.
Boom!
With a muffled grunt, the First Generation’s figure was sent flying backward. Seeing this, Lin Yu did not press his advantage; his energy was depleted to this extent. He sensed the First Generation’s condition mentally and found the opponent lightly injured.
“Looks like my full-strength strike can lightly injure a legendary warrior.”
Satisfied with his current power, Lin Yu received energy transmitted from the Kirielode God. With energy restored, Lin Yu flapped his wings and shot out of the Land of Light’s atmosphere, disappearing from sight.
On the ground, the First Generation Ultraman rose again. Just as he prepared to fight, he noticed the monster had already fled.
“Where did that monster come from? Why is it so fast?”
The First Generation said angrily. He had been eager to avenge the fallen Ultramen but was surprised by the monster’s speed. Even with foresight of the attack, he couldn’t block it. Such speed was unprecedented in his experience of tens of thousands of monsters.
Moreover, the attack’s explosive force instantly breached his defense. At that moment, this was the power he would muster against Belial, yet the attacker was merely an advanced monster.
“Damn beast!”
The First Generation’s tone was furious. The unknown monster was too fast to catch.
One week later.
Gunma Prefecture.
In the heart of the prefecture, a pitch-black church had been renovated. Lin Yu stood on the pulpit dressed in black clerical robes, while a dozen or so suited individuals sat below. They were the elite of Gunma Prefecture—either politicians or heads of local major enterprises.
All had gathered earnestly to listen to Lin Yu’s speech. Lin Yu nodded inwardly at the crowd. The B-level Kirielode being’s abilities were indeed outstanding. In just one week, he had completed his mission. Now, only one faith was permitted in this prefecture—the Kirielode God!
Next, he would transform the elder whose life was nearing its end as proof he could grant others eternal life. Gunma would then become the Kirielode base.
“Your Majesty, everyone has arrived!”
An elderly gentleman with white hair, glasses, and a refined demeanor approached respectfully. He was the human form of the B-level Kirielode being and had been Gunma’s mayor ten years ago.
“Thank you for your efforts!” Lin Yu encouraged, then instructed him to bring the person forward.
Soon, an elderly man with a cane, struggling to walk but spiritually invigorated, stepped up.
“Bandata, are you sure you want to believe in the great Kirielode God, forsaking your frail human form to become a glorious Kirielode?”
“Yes, I’m sure!”
The elder answered excitedly, then trembled as he knelt and humbly kissed Lin Yu’s feet.
Lin Yu nodded upon hearing the elder’s fervor. This man was the most powerful figure in Gunma. His son was the current mayor, and his son-in-law and grandson-in-law headed the two largest local companies. This so-called lord of Gunma humbly kissed Lin Yu’s feet—not due to force but the allure of eternal life.

“Bandata, today I will grant you the supreme glory on behalf of the great Kirielode God!”
Lin Yu controlled a Kirielode God clone to project light through an interdimensional space onto the elder. Inside the pitch-black church, white light descended from nowhere.
As the light enveloped Bandata, a miracle occurred. The elder first transformed into a spiritual form, then back into a human form. However, his appearance changed from a near-death old man to a vigorous fifty-year-old middle-aged man.
“This! I really became younger! Is this the feeling of standing tall? Amazing!”
Watching Bandata’s ecstatic expression, Lin Yu smiled. Tears of excitement also welled on the faces of the suited middle-aged men below.
“Next!” Lin Yu calmly announced. Soon, a refined middle-aged woman adorned with precious jewels walked up excitedly. She was the largest shareholder of the local newspaper.
Following the same process, after she humbly kissed Lin Yu’s feet, white light descended. She transformed into a spiritual form, then into a human form with wrinkles vanished and skin as white as snow. Her once frail figure became upright and youthful—an eighteen-year-old girl reborn.
This was the transformation skill Lin Yu had developed in one week. He believed most women could not resist the allure of eternal beauty. To women, he promised eternal youth; to men, eternal life.
With these two gifts, Lin Yu was certain the Kirielode could infiltrate every corner of human society. Observing the powerful figures below, Lin Yu sensed their respect and greed through his mental powers.
“Great Kirielode God!”
The magnates looked toward Lin Yu with reverence.
“Now, I entrust everything to you!” Lin Yu said to the human form of the B-level Kirielode being before choosing to depart.
With this male and female demonstration, he believed Gunma would become a Kirielode stronghold. After performing the same rites in the headquarters of two major companies, within half a month, three prefectures in Japan had become Kirielode bases. The faithful had grown from dozens to thousands.
The increase in faith and bases greatly accelerated the Kirielode God clone’s energy restoration. Lin Yu estimated that his clone would soon regain strength, becoming equivalent to a legendary warrior. When Kirielode believers spread throughout Japan, the clone’s power would evolve again—he expected it to rival Gatanothor.
Knock! Knock!
While checking his clone’s status, Lin Yu was snapped back to reality by a knock on the office door.
“Come in!”
With Lin Yu’s words, a graceful woman in a black suit and skirt entered. It was the female Kirielode being encountered earlier—her human name was Emi Takagi, the one who had once trampled Daigo in the storyline.
“Your Majesty! You are truly formidable, worthy of being our king.”
Emi’s beautiful face was filled with respect and admiration.
Lin Yu smiled at her praise. He had wondered why the Kirielode guided humanity in the plot, only to realize faith could evolve the Kirielode God. The prophets sought to achieve this through force, but Lin Yu used intellect.
“By the way, Your Majesty, I’ve received news that Captain Megumi Ijūin of the Victory Team is heading to the TV station to announce that Ultraman Tiga is humanity’s true protector. Should we intervene?”
“Of course!”
Lin Yu nodded. For his Kirielode God clone to evolve, it must become a deity of civilized faith. The stronger the faith and civilization, the stronger his clone.
Previously, the Kirielode God’s consciousness tried creating a race and enforcing belief. Lin Yu had a grander plan: to become humanity’s god in this world and lead them to become a powerful civilization rivaling the Land of Light.
Once achieved, his Kirielode God clone would become as mighty as the mysterious Four Ultra Kings.
