Chapter 109: The True Abao
Yang Fan was still lost in thought about that dream. It had felt so real, yet no matter how hard he searched, he couldn’t find a trace of that girl’s existence.
“Yun’er, does Tianhai have any new star chauffeurs on call?”
“No,” Wang Yun paused in surprise before asking, “Who are you fixated on this time?”
“No one!” Yang Fan quickly pulled Wang Yun into an embrace.
Since Lin Ruo and Lin Xi were still in Tianning, Yang Fan stayed with Wang Yun.
“It’s been a long time since I saw Sister Xinxin!” Wang Yun said.
“You miss her? Then call her and have her come over!”
“Alright.” Without hesitation, Wang Yun made the call. She was truly grateful to Huo Xinxin.
After the call, Wang Yun curled up in Yang Fan’s arms like a little kitten.
“By the way, did you know Sister Xinxin married you too?”
“How would I know!” Yang Fan felt overwhelmed; he wished they wouldn’t just marry him off randomly.
“Hmm, Xiaomei said she’s trying to get you seven wives, three wives and four concubines. From now on, they’ll all be lovers, so take it easy!”
“Then are you a wife or a concubine?” Yang Fan asked with a smile.
“Does it make a difference?”
“Of course. If you’re a wife, I serve you; if you’re a concubine, you serve me.”
“So, what do you want me to be?” Wang Yun asked.
“Concubine it is! Come, have children!”
...
“Woof, woof woof!”
Yang Fan froze at the sound of barking—Xiao Mei was back again.
As expected, the girl barged in like always, and Yang Fan silently cursed himself for not locking the door.
“Go out—”
“I want to sleep with Sister Wang Yun,” Xiao Mei jumped onto the bed.
“You want to sleep with your sister-in-law? What about Sister Zihan? Can you just behave for one day?” Yang Fan felt utterly defeated.
“Then pay me. If you pay, I’ll sleep alone!” Xiao Mei was just killing time anyway.
“I only have five hundred on me!”
“Five hundred is five hundred!” Xiao Mei was relentless.
Desperate, Yang Fan pulled his last five hundred yuan from his pocket and handed it to Xiao Mei, promptly throwing her out.
Luckily, he was smart enough to entrust the five million-yuan card to Xia Yufei, who was his staunchest ally—always generous with his pocket money.

“I married your two best friends into wealthy families. Happy now?” Wang Yun said as she gave him a playful kick.
“You pushed my two best friends into the fire! You rich folks always go after whoever you see. Do you think my two friends can handle that?”
“It’s not as bad as you imagine.”
“Just by looking at you, I know. Also, tell me about that eldest daughter of the Zhong family!” Wang Yun grew angrier, sitting up. “You know, a man spending money on a woman is one thing, but you actually want to live off someone else’s earnings!”
“I’m getting all Zhong family’s money back for you,” Yang Fan said firmly. Who said he wanted to live off others?
Wang Yun snorted and started putting on her clothes.
“Where are you going?”
“I’m going to sleep with my best friend. You go sleep with your lover!” Wang Yun said.
“Don’t go! We haven’t even settled the most important thing!”
“Pfft!” Wang Yun ignored him and opened the door.
Yang Fan was exasperated. Why did he even mention her best friends?
“I’m really going to find a lover now!”
A throw pillow flew from the living room, followed by the door slamming shut, leaving Yang Fan alone in the empty room.
“I was clearly doing a good deed that day!” Yang Fan muttered to himself, but he couldn’t help recalling the strange events of that day.
“Could it really have been a hallucination?” He shook his head, yet something still felt off.
And if it was just a dream, why could he still remember that girl’s face so vividly?
“What exactly is wrong?”
Finally, Yang Fan fell asleep. Around midnight, half-awake, he felt someone on his body.
Opening his eyes, he saw Wang Yun and hugged her tightly.
“My wife is still the best!”
For several days, Yang Fan and Wang Yun toured Tianhai thoroughly. More importantly, they inspected Mount Mowang, and the planning for the Fanmei Resort was finalized on their end.
The work to attract investors would begin after the new year—there was no need to be so busy at the year’s end.
Of course, it would have been much more pleasant without Xiao Mei, the ever-present third wheel.
The two of them chatted happily, while Yang Fan’s main contribution was holding the dog.
On the fourth day, Lin Ruo and Lin Xi returned from Tianning to the resort.
They arrived late at night and burst into Yang Fan’s bedroom immediately.
“Yun’er, Yang Fan, get up,” Lin Ruo said.
“Sister Lin Ruo, what’s wrong?” Wang Yun woke up with a start, while Yang Fan was still groggy.
His constitution wasn’t very good, after all.
“Wake up!” Lin Ruo snapped sharply, jolting Yang Fan fully awake.
“Let’s go!”
“Where are we going at this hour?” Yang Fan asked.
“Enough, just get up!”
“We found Abao’s real location. Feifei and the others have already raided the place!” Lin Xi explained.
Yang Fan’s spirit immediately lifted. “How did you find it?”
“We went to the prison and discovered a master of disguise! It’s a skill even more advanced than makeup—like a mask that changes at will. After identifying him, we traced his trail to this place.”
“Good!” Yang Fan was delighted.
Half an hour later, a car with the four of them arrived at the destination: Abao’s hometown.
The place was overgrown with weeds and in ruins. The residents had long since moved to the city, but who would have guessed that Abao had hidden a secret here?
“Master, Sister Ruo!” Feifei was waiting here. Once they got in the car, she directed them underground.
“What’s the situation inside?”
“Master, there are about a hundred people, divided into five groups: masters of disguise, snipers, intelligence agents, weapons experts, and infiltrators. But their training here is mediocre at best!”
“Abao hid himself deeply!” Yang Fan said.
“No, the one you killed wasn’t the real Abao but a disguised double. He used a decoy to make money while the real Abao conducted secret operations here. He’s quite a strategist!” Feifei said.
“Where is the real Abao?”
“Here as well!”
“Good!” Yang Fan sneered.
“There are five leaders inside; they have some power—half superhumans—but they’re not good at assassination. We wiped them all out.”
Yang Fan nodded. Once one took the Body Refinement Pill, they were practically half superhuman too. Coupled with Lin Ruo’s teachings, they had methods for quick, lethal strikes.
No empty moves—every attack was deadly.
Inside, the place resembled a palace. The hundred captives were guarded by Youyou and her team. Yang Fan immediately spotted Abao and approached.
“Yang Fan!”
“Rare to see you still recognize me. I bet that fake Abao told you a lot about me. Luckily, I remembered your uneven distribution with Aying, or else you might have become a formidable force—a big problem!”
Yang Fan responded coldly...
