Chapter 92: Do You Think It's Possible? (Seventh Update)
The current structure of Fanmei revolves around integrated operations in film and television, luxury goods, live streaming, agency management, and resorts—especially the resort segment, which operates on a six-point synergy model. The resort serves as the core, with five manors supporting it, and, in essence, the resort itself stands apart from the entire Fanmei system, bearing the name Fanmei Resort Manor.
Its vast expanse is striking, particularly the towering office building that was once the resort’s most renowned feature, the Hibiscus Tower. After Yang Fan took over, he abolished the old setup and transformed the tower into the headquarters for the six-point synergy operation.
This is the headquarters of Fanmei Resort Manor: amusement parks, large cinemas, luxury hotels, the Seaview Villa District, taverns, cafés, couples’ villas, shopping centers, and a grand convention center—everything one could wish for, suitable for all ages. And this is only seventy percent of the Ring River District; the remaining thirty percent awaits development. One can only imagine how high Sister Ying’s status was at Redemption for her to be granted this resort.
Now, Yang Fan has truly struck a fortune!
"Yang Fan, we’ve been waiting for you. You know, Zhang Chen and the others arrived over half an hour ago. Why are you only just getting here?" Liu Mingfeng, President Qian, and President Chen were waiting at the entrance.
Yang Fan laughed, "Are you three planning to retire here? You don’t even bother going home!"
"President Jiang!" The three greeted him warmly.
"Gentlemen, it’s been quite a while since we last met!" Jiang Huai, holding Bai Tiantian’s hand, smiled as well.
"We’re just here to enjoy ourselves, you know. Tianning is in Yang Fan’s hands, so we three can focus on leisure. After all, he’s young!" President Chen chuckled.
Yang Fan rolled his eyes. "I want to enjoy myself too!"
"Let me introduce you," Liu Mingfeng said, "Yang Fan, this is Ye Bing, the general manager of Fanmei Resort Manor. She’s a top graduate from a prestigious university!"
Yang Fan let out a long breath, "You even recruit students from elite universities!"
"Manager Ye, this is President Yang, the head of Fanmei Group."
"Greetings, President Yang!" Ye Bing possessed true elegance—well suited for the role of general manager. Since she’s entrusted with this position by Liu Mingfeng, it’s likely her status as his future wife is all but settled.
"Hello," Yang Fan replied.
"And this is President Jiang of the Jiang family, the largest investor in Fanmei Group’s film and television subsidiary."
"Greetings, President Jiang, and Madam Jiang!"
Zhang Chen and his companions stood behind, watching Liu Haoyu’s troubled expression—his stepmother was the same age as himself.
"Come in, President Jiang! We’ve been waiting, and Lin Ruo and I are starving," Yang Fan urged.
"Come, come, please! You’re the last to arrive. Your staff came last night!" Liu Mingfeng said as they walked inside.
…
Looking from outside is very different from experiencing it firsthand. Once inside, the senses are heightened—even Jiang Huai couldn’t help but marvel. As for the staff, Yang Fan only eliminated those services that didn’t meet the standard; everything else was preserved.
Thus, the staff retained their former charm—beauty in abundance.
In the most opulent hall of the resort hotel, Yang Fan and his group took their seats. Lin Ruo didn’t sit with them; Ye Bing came over, as did Bai Tiantian.
"President Jiang, how do you find it? After lunch, I’ll show you around."
"Impressive! It seems Fanmei’s business is flourishing. If we invest in the future, don’t think of us as a nuisance," Jiang Huai gestured to their group.
"How could we? You can ask Presidents Liu, Qian, and Chen—we four are eager to welcome you! In fact, that final thirty percent of the area hasn’t seen investment because our funds are limited," Yang Fan said with a smile.
It was the truth. Liu Mingfeng had Four Seasons Song and several karaoke lounges, plus a large convention hall under renovation. With the Star-Making Project underway, the convention hall needed to be grand.
President Qian, too—his family and Liu’s were evenly matched, and his funds were tied up in the convention hall. President Chen had money, but his industries were numerous, so the development of that last thirty percent had to be postponed.
"There’s still thirty percent to develop? Then we’ll certainly invest," Jiang Huai and his associates agreed. Jiang Huai was determined to tie his fortunes to Yang Fan.
Money aside, what mattered was fate; he didn’t care how much profit the thirty percent might yield—he believed in Yang Fan.
Besides, once Jiang Bo was defeated, the Jiang family would be his. This small sum was nothing.
"If you ask me, you and Bai Tiantian should hold your wedding here—it comes with a seven-day honeymoon, perfectly suited!"
"Let’s settle it, then!" Jiang Huai declared.
After lunch, everyone took a stroll—the surroundings were elegant, with the river encircling three sides and yachts gliding on the water.
Yang Fan saw Zhao Mengnan and her group taking photos and waved to her. Zhao Mengnan blew him a kiss, and just as Yang Fan turned back, Lin Ruo shot him another glare.
Ah, the bitterness—how would he coax the gift money for Wang Yun out of Lin Ruo?
Their lodging was in the Seaview Villa District, reserved for the highest-end clients, with different areas priced differently.
Yang Fan’s villa was specially reserved; he’d always stayed there. Jiang Huai led Bai Tiantian to rest, while Zhang Chen, Xu Tao, and Liu Haoyu were having a blast at the resort, trying to drag Yang Fan along, but he had matters to attend to.
The money for the gift was still unresolved. As soon as he entered, before Yang Fan could speak, Lin Ruo went straight to her room.
"Lin Ruo, wait—let’s talk it over!"
Yang Fan chased after her, but Lin Ruo clearly didn’t want to converse.
"Get out!"
"Can’t you show some leniency?" Yang Fan pleaded—it wasn’t just a few hundred or thousand.
"Do you think that’s possible? Let’s look at the facts: Lin Xi and I live in Garden District, and Zhao Jing’s place doesn’t compare. Yu Fei lives at the Women’s Academy, and Wu Qian sold her villa to donate it to the Academy," Lin Ruo said.
"But isn’t she far away?"
"So what if she’s far? Does distance grant special privileges? Now get out—I want to change!"
Lin Ruo had no intention to argue further, likely still upset about what happened in the car. Yang Fan, frustrated, waited in the living room, but Lin Ruo didn’t come out. Instead, Wang Yun called.
Yang Fan answered nervously; on the other end, he heard the sound of cars, and Zhang Chen’s cheers echoed from the river.
"Where are you?" Yang Fan asked.
"Resort—I’m here to pick you up! Come to the main entrance of the resort hotel," Wang Yun replied.
