Chapter 25: The Café
I was preoccupied with the final exams and impatiently urged Xia Qi, “What on earth is it? If you won’t tell me, I’m leaving.”
She hushed me, pointing toward the door. I turned my head, and a familiar figure hurriedly pushed the door open.
To my surprise, it was Rong Luozheng.
He walked straight over to the woman sitting in the corner and sat down across from her. I was even more astonished when I recognized that woman—it was Yi Huayang.
I turned my gaze back to Xia Qi. “What do you mean by this?”
She took a graceful sip of her coffee. “Nothing, really. I’m just bored and wanted to watch a good show.”
I followed her gaze. Rong Luozheng placed something in front of Yi Huayang. She picked it up and glanced at it—it looked like several sheets of paper, but I couldn’t tell what was written on them.
After a moment, she seemed quite satisfied. “You’re really willing to give me these?”
Rong Luozheng smiled. “Even I belong to you. What are these compared to that?”

Xia Qi rolled her eyes but still explained, “Just yesterday, I was at the club for dinner with my mom. On my way to the restroom, I overheard Rong Luozheng making a phone call. I remembered the time, place, and names.”
I asked, “What’s Yi Huayang holding?”
Xia Qi asked, “Do you really want to know?”
I nodded vigorously. Could it be the divorce papers between Rong Luozheng and his wife, and he’s using them to lure Yi Huayang away with him?
Xia Qi gave a mysterious smile. “You’ll find out soon enough.”
Then Yi Huayang stood up and picked up her bag. I lost my patience. “What are you really planning here?”
She glanced at the door. “Here they come…”
I turned to look and saw the elegant woman I’d seen once outside the police station—Rong Luozheng’s wife—burst in with three bodyguards.
They headed straight for the corner. I was so startled I stood up, wanting to shout, but when I opened my mouth, no sound came out.
Rong Luozheng and Yi Huayang were embracing. His wife grabbed Yi Huayang’s hair from behind and then kicked Rong Luozheng to the ground.
“You shameless woman, seducing my husband… Have you no decency?”
Rong Luozheng cried out, “Yangyang!” and rushed to protect he
