Chapter Sixty-Two: What Are You Looking At?
The doctor smiled, but when his gaze met that of the twisted man, he quietly withdrew.
Luo Ange leaned close to my ear. “It seems you’re really missing the taste of yesterday.”
It took me a moment to understand what he meant, and I was so furious I wanted to hit him. He pinned me down, staring straight into my eyes.
His gaze made me uncomfortable, and I tried to push him away and get off the bed. He caught my shoulders, bent down, and kissed me.
I struggled, but he bit down on my neck, then slowly moved to my collarbone.
Unable to break free, I shrank backward, but he was half-kneeling on the bed, forcing my body against the wall, only making it easier for him to go deeper.
By the time he let me go, I was breathless, unable to speak, only staring at him through tear-filled eyes.
He touched the corner of his mouth and smiled wickedly. “What are you looking at? Believe it or not, I could devour you right here.”
Knowing he was capable of anything, I didn’t dare argue. I climbed out of bed and headed for the door.
I was going to tell Mo Yinghuai that I would never teach Luo Anxin roller skating again. No matter how angelic the Luo family appeared, I wanted nothing to do with them.
I’d only taken a few steps when I ran into Luo Anxin, who was holding a man’s hand. When he saw me, he ran over. “Sister, are you okay?”
I shook my head and instinctively turned to look back—Luo Ange was leaning against the doorway, watching us with a smile.
Luo Anxin took my hand and pointed to the man standing two meters away. “This is my uncle. Isn’t he handsome?”
I glanced up. His features were gentle, nothing like the flamboyant perversity of Luo Ange. He was quite pleasant to look at, so I nodded vaguely.
The little one was thrilled. “Sister, my uncle is the most eligible bachelor in Kang City. Do you want him?”
I shook my head and crouched down. “Anxin, I’m not feeling well. I can’t have dinner with you today, I’m sorry.”
He pouted. “You’re breaking your promise. You said you’d stay.”
Then he burst into tears. The man came over, picked him up, and soothed him gently. “Alright, alright, a little man shouldn’t cry over nothing. What does that look like?”
Luo Anxin kept crying. “I don’t care, I don’t care, I want sister to stay.”
The man looked at me helplessly. “Miss, perhaps you could stay a while longer.”
I was about to reply when Luo Ange’s voice sounded from behind, growing nearer. “Luo Anxin, do you have no dignity?”
Luo Anxin retorted, “Hmph, you’re the one without dignity, always changing girlfriends. At least uncle is decent and self-disciplined.”
Luo Ange stood beside me, giving me a subtle glance. “You brat, mind your own business.”
The man seemed accustomed to such scenes and shook his head with resignation. “Alright, alright, you two argue like this every day. Are you not tired? My teeth ache just listening. Ange, what’s the story with that girl in the living room?”
Luo Ange gave a sly smile. “Why, uncle, if you like her, she’s yours.”
The man replied, “What do you take me for? I’m saying you’re not a child anymore. You can’t keep messing around like this. If you don’t want to marry her, don’t string her along. She looks quite young—don’t deceive her.”
Luo Ange took his brother from him and walked a few steps before turning back. “Uncle, if you have so much free time, why not settle your own life first before lecturing me?”
He turned to leave. Luo Anxin, struggling in his uncle's arms, called out, “Shu Congxuan, help me entertain my sister. Don’t let her leave!”
And so, I was very politely and courteously invited to the living room by Shu Congxuan. There, I saw a lovely young woman sitting beside Mo Yinghuai, chatting happily.
