“Qin Tian, come help me carry this luggage.”

Early that morning, the Jiang family was already bustling with activity. Although they had packed the night before, Jiang Yingying and Shen Xiaoqing still spent quite some time tidying up that morning.

“I’m coming.” Qin Tian wiped the sweat off his forehead. The heavy September air made it hard to breathe. He had just managed to load two suitcases, each about half his height, into the car.

“Misses, how come you have so much stuff?”

Qin Tian looked at the five suitcases in the living room—two large and three small. Including the two already in the car, that made seven suitcases in total.

Was this going to school or moving house?

To accommodate all seven suitcases, Qin Tian had specifically gone to Jiang Tianxiang’s company yesterday to exchange their car for a seven-seater business van.

“This one has clothes, this one daily necessities, this one snacks, and this one miscellaneous items,” Shen Xiaoqing explained, pointing to each suitcase.

Qin Tian waved his hand, uninterested in the explanations. He hoisted two suitcases and headed outside.

“Having a man at home is really convenient,” Shen Xiaoqing said with satisfaction, watching Qin Tian bustling about.

“Isn’t my dad a man?” Jiang Yingying rolled her eyes.

“That’s different. Your dad and Qin Tian aren’t the same kind of person,” Shen Xiaoqing clarified.

“Yingying, why don’t we have Qin Tian go with us?” Shen Xiaoqing suddenly suggested.

“Go where together?” Jiang Yingying was momentarily puzzled.

“To Tongyang,” Shen Xiaoqing winked.

Tongyang City was home to the top-ranked university in China. Many wealthy families sent their heirs there, including Jiang Yingying and Shen Xiaoqing, who were both attending college there.

Tongyang was known as the “Little Capital” and was a hotbed of talent, second only to the imperial capital.

“That won’t do!” Jiang Yingying immediately shook her head, though inwardly she thought it might not be so bad.

“What’s wrong with that? We’re not living on campus. He can drive us to and from school and cook meals for me—a full-time housekeeper!” Shen Xiaoqing argued.

“But Qin Tian has to work,” Jiang Yingying protested.

“Are you dumb? Isn’t Qin Tian working for your family? Driving you to school and cooking for you counts as work too, right?” Shen Xiaoqing reasoned.

“Work is work, no matter where it’s done,” she added confidently.

Jiang Yingying fell silent, unsure what to say.

Half an hour later, everything was finally packed. Qin Tian drove the two young women straight to the airport.

It was only eleven o’clock when they arrived; their flight was at two in the afternoon. The three decided to find a place to eat first.

After the meal, Qin Tian helped Jiang Yingying and Shen Xiaoqing check their luggage before driving back to the Jiang residence.

“Huh? Why are you back? Did you forget something?” Jiang Tianxiang looked at Qin Tian in surprise as he entered.

“???” Qin Tian was baffled. Wasn’t he supposed to return?

“Didn’t I tell you yesterday?” Jiang Tianxiang asked.

“Tell me what?” Qin Tian was even more confused.

“You didn’t hear me?” Jiang Tianxiang’s eyes widened.

“You didn’t say anything to me,” Qin Tian retorted, both staring at each other in disbelief.

“Oh no! You need to get to the airport now!” Jiang Tianxiang urged.

“What’s going on?” Qin Tian felt completely lost.

“You’re going with Yingying and the others! I’ve booked your ticket and arranged your enrollment over there.”

“Looks like I was too busy yesterday and forgot to tell you,” Jiang Tianxiang patted his head.

“What?” Qin Tian was stunned. Checking the time, the flight was at three, and it was already one o’clock. The drive to the airport would take at least an hour and a half!

Without hesitation, Qin Tian rushed out, jumped into the car, and sped off.

At 2:55 p.m., inside the airport terminal, a gentle female announcer's voice rang out.

“Mr. Qin Tian, please proceed immediately to Gate 2 for boarding. Your flight DH66778 is about to depart.”

“Mr. Qin Tian…”

Jiang Yingying and Shen Xiaoqing exchanged a glance, both puzzled.

“Yingying, there’s actually someone with the exact same name as Qin Tian,” Shen Xiaoqing said in surprise.

“What a coincidence,” Jiang Yingying nodded, feeling a strange sense of anticipation—though she wasn’t sure what for.

At that moment, Qin Tian was running, drenched in sweat, with less than two minutes before takeoff.

Jiang Tianxiang was hopeless—why couldn’t he have told him sooner? Qin Tian was exhausted, feeling like a lifeless dog.

In the end, Qin Tian boarded the plane five minutes late and was scolded by the flight attendants during boarding.

Knowing he was in the wrong, Qin Tian apologized repeatedly.

“Really, Qin Tian!” Shen Xiaoqing’s eyes widened.

Jiang Yingying was also stunned; she hadn’t expected this Qin Tian to be the same Qin Tian.

“What are you doing here?”

Qin Tian’s seat was right beside Jiang Yingying and Shen Xiaoqing. Shen Xiaoqing asked curiously.

“It’s all Uncle Jiang’s arrangement,” Qin Tian took a few breaths and explained the whole situation.

“That’s great! No more worrying about meals!” Shen Xiaoqing cheered.

“Your dad arranged for you to go to school with us?” Jiang Yingying’s face twisted with suspicion.

Qin Tian wore a similar expression. Wasn’t this just being a live-in tutor?

After landing, it was nearly midnight. The three went straight home.

Jiang Yingying and Shen Xiaoqing already had an apartment in Tongyang, arranged by Jiang Tianxiang.

After resting for a night, the next day they went to register at the university.

Pinde University was the top institution in Tongyang City and nationwide, ranking among the best universities in the world.

Qin Tian circled around for a while before finding a parking spot. Registration day was always crowded, and Pinde University was no stranger to wealthy students who drove their own cars, so parking was tight.

After parking, Qin Tian went with Jiang Yingying and Shen Xiaoqing to the registration area.

The registration was just a formality, nothing demanding much attention.

“There are so many people. Wait here, I’ll get us some water,” Qin Tian said, looking at the long queue under the scorching sun, feeling thirsty.

Jiang Yingying nodded, and Qin Tian went to buy water.

This was Qin Tian’s first time inside a university campus; he felt like a country bumpkin in the big city, everything was new and fascinating.

Especially the girls on campus—they were stunning, radiating youthful energy everywhere.

After searching for a long time, Qin Tian finally found a small convenience store and bought three bottles of water before hurrying back.

But when he returned, he saw a few boys grinning and standing close to Jiang Yingying and Shen Xiaoqing. The two girls looked displeased.

Qin Tian’s face instantly darkened. Harassing female classmates? And they were Jiang Yingying and Shen Xiaoqing? This was intolerable.
