Chapter 129: This Is the Empire I Have Conquered for You

"Yingying, look! It’s the wild man’s eyes!" Shen Xiaoqing exclaimed, shaking Jiang Yingying’s arm in excitement.

"Big Brother Hunk!" A moment later, Shen Xiaoqing saw Qin Tian dash straight into the dense forest.

"Wow! Big Brother Hunk is going to catch the wild man! Let's follow and see!" Shen Xiaoqing grabbed Jiang Yingying and plunged into the thicket.

It was fortunate that the crowd had moved toward the lantern festival; otherwise, their actions might have caused a scene.

"Xiaoqing, it’s too dangerous..." Jiang Yingying tried to dissuade her, but Shen Xiaoqing’s strength was surprisingly formidable. Before she could finish her sentence, she was already dragged into the woods.

"Big Brother Hunk, wait for us!" Shen Xiaoqing shouted ahead while pulling Jiang Yingying along.

"Xiaoqing, slow down." Jiang Yingying nearly tripped under the force of the pull.

Qin Tian ignored the two girls chasing frantically behind him; he was busy chasing his monkey!

He was completely baffled. How could Big Monkey be here? After Old Man Kong seized the Heavenly God Circus, Big Monkey, Big Wolf, and Big Tiger had all gone missing. Big Tiger had been found by Qin Tian later and was now being well cared for at the Huangli Circus. But Big Monkey and Big Wolf had vanished without a trace.

"Big Monkey, stop running! It’s me!" Qin Tian called out.

The damn monkey seemed even more agile than before, scurrying away with such ease that Qin Tian hadn't caught up after a long pursuit.

"Huh?" Qin Tian suddenly dodged, and something whistled past his shoulder. As it flew by, he caught a glimpse of it—it was an unknown wild fruit.

*Whoosh, whoosh, whoosh...*

Next, a barrage of wild fruits came flying toward him.

Qin Tian’s lips curled into a smirk. Big Monkey must have recognized him; it was just playing! Since it wanted to play, Qin Tian didn't mind joining in.

"There!" After a quick search, he spotted Big Monkey’s tail dangling from the branches. He snatched a flying fruit out of the air and threw it back.

Big Monkey leaped to another tree, continuing to pelt him with fruit. The man and the monkey began to frolic in the forest.

"Ouch!" Shen Xiaoqing and Jiang Yingying caught up just as a fruit struck Shen Xiaoqing on the head, forcing her to hold her head in pain.

"Are you playing games with a wild man?" Shen Xiaoqing asked, rubbing her head with wide, astonished eyes.

"Wild man, my foot! I told you, that’s my monkey!" Qin Tian replied, speechless.

"Your monkey?" Jiang Yingying and Shen Xiaoqing exchanged glances, full of confusion.

"Yes, the one I raised when I was at the Heavenly God Circus," Qin Tian explained to them.

"How did your monkey end up here?" Shen Xiaoqing asked, bewildered. Wushi to Tongyang City was hundreds of kilometers away. Why would a monkey travel such a long distance across mountains and plains?

"I don't know, I haven't asked it yet," Qin Tian said.

"You can understand what it says?" Shen Xiaoqing asked, then immediately answered herself, "Oh, right, you definitely can." She recalled that during the horse racing competition, Qin Tian had already demonstrated his unique ability to communicate with animals.

"Big Monkey, come down. We can play later," Qin Tian beckoned to the monkey hiding in the branches.

*Chee!*

Big Monkey let out a cry and leaped from the foliage, flying toward Qin Tian. Qin Tian caught it with a smile, but the monkey wiggled out of his arms and squatted on his shoulder.

"Hey, it’s actually quite cute!" Shen Xiaoqing reached out curiously, wanting to touch it.

"Be careful, it might bite!" Jiang Yingying warned.

However, Big Monkey was very docile, leaning its head forward and rubbing against Shen Xiaoqing’s hand.

"This is so much fun!" Shen Xiaoqing acted like a curious child, petting the monkey; it was her first time touching one.

Jiang Yingying was eager to try as well. Few young women could resist the allure of a fluffy little monkey. Qin Tian smiled and placed the monkey on Jiang Yingying’s shoulder. She trembled at first, but realizing there was no danger, she began to relax.

The monkey on her shoulder even began to groom her hair, clearly treating her as a friend. Jiang Yingying grew bolder and began to pet it.

"Don't pull its tail," Qin Tian warned when Jiang Yingying reached for the tail. Big Monkey hated having its tail touched; it would get angry immediately.

"Big Monkey, how did you get here?" Qin Tian asked.

"Chee-chee-cha-cha." The monkey chattered away, using its hands to gesture in a way that truly looked like someone expressing an opinion.

"You're saying you were caught by animal traffickers, escaped, and ended up here?" Qin Tian asked.

"Chee-chee-cha-cha!" Big Monkey nodded vigorously.

Qin Tian pondered this; it wasn't necessarily animal traffickers, but the monkey wouldn't know the difference.

"Chee-chee-cha-cha!" Big Monkey pointed to the side.

"What is it saying?" Jiang Yingying asked.

"It wants to take us somewhere," Qin Tian replied.

With a *whoosh*, Big Monkey jumped off her shoulder, beckoned to the three of them, and led the way.

"Where are you taking us?" Qin Tian felt as though they had been walking for a long time.

"Chee-chee-cha-cha!" Big Monkey pointed ahead again, signaling it wasn't far.

Finally, they arrived at a spot with a tiny, miniature waterfall. It was barely four meters high, but the water rushed down with great intensity. Qin Tian even felt it wasn't a waterfall at all, just a stream created by a drop in elevation.

"This is?" Qin Tian’s eyes widened.

"Chee-chee-cha-cha!" Big Monkey beckoned again, walked toward the waterfall, and to the trio’s utter shock, vanished as it dove inside!

Qin Tian hesitated for a moment before following, and he was stunned by what he saw. Stone tables, stone stools, a stone bed, and other stone furniture—it looked like a home! Everything was provided for, just made of stone.

How could such a place exist here?

"Holy cow, the Cave of the Water Curtain?" Jiang Yingying and Shen Xiaoqing walked in, equally stunned.

"The Cave of the Water Curtain?" Qin Tian paused; it really did look like it.

"Chee-chee-cha-cha!" Big Monkey beckoned again and ran back outside.

"Chee-chee-cha-cha! Chee-chee-cha-cha! Ooh-ooh-ooh!"

Standing on a rock, the monkey seemed to be summoning something. Immediately, Qin Tian saw pairs of small eyes lighting up in the dense forest.

"What is this?" Qin Tian’s eyes widened as monkey after monkey emerged from the forest. There were nearly a hundred of them, perhaps even more!

"Chee-chee! Cha-cha!" Big Monkey spread its arms, and all the other monkeys knelt down. The scene looked exactly like subjects paying tribute to their king.

Big Monkey looked at Qin Tian. The look in its eyes seemed to say: *See? This is the kingdom I have conquered for you!*
