“Welcome party?” Qin Tian was momentarily taken aback.

“Yeah, the welcome party is on the 10th of next month. Since we’re seniors, we have to perform some acts to greet the freshmen,” Shen Xiaoqing nodded in agreement.

“So you want me to perform?” Qin Tian pinched the bridge of his nose, pondering his lack of talents.

He was only good at kung fu. Should he perform the classic ‘breaking a big stone on the chest’ trick?

Ah, no—that’s ‘breaking a stone on the chest.’

“Yingying, as the department’s belle, is definitely the star of our department. She has to be in it,” Shen Xiaoqing said.

“So you want me to perform with Yingying?” Qin Tian asked.

“Yes. Yingying plans to do a play, and you’ll play a tree,” Shen Xiaoqing said seriously.

“What?” Qin Tian’s eyes widened. Play a tree? Was this some cosmic joke?

He, Qin Tian—the legendary invincible genius—was only fit to play a tree?

“Xiaoqing, don’t tease him,” Jiang Yingying scolded Shen Xiaoqing with a glance. Shen Xiaoqing immediately covered her mouth, chuckling secretly.

“It’s not just a tree. You’ll be my partner,” Jiang Yingying glanced at Qin Tian, blushing slightly.

Qin Tian smelled the subtle arrival of spring...

“Partner in what?” Qin Tian asked.

“Romeo and Juliet,” Jiang Yingying replied.

Qin Tian nodded. That was a classic old play. But didn’t it have kissing scenes? No wonder he sensed the springtime aura!

Thinking this, Qin Tian started to giggle foolishly.

“No kissing scenes! They’ve been cut!” Jiang Yingying said bluntly, seeing his smile and knowing he was up to no good.

“Huh?” Qin Tian was stunned. They cut the kissing scenes?

That was the most iconic part of Romeo and Juliet! How could they remove it?

Qin Tian immediately lost enthusiasm. Boring—truly boring.

“This afternoon, after 2:45, we have no classes. At 3:00, we’ll gather at the Youth Grand Theater on campus,” Jiang Yingying said.

“Okay, got it,” Qin Tian nodded.

Although Qin Tian, Jiang Yingying, and Shen Xiaoqing were in the same department and class, they had elective courses this afternoon.

Electives had to be grabbed quickly. Jiang Yingying and Shen Xiaoqing had gotten the same course, but Qin Tian didn’t manage to get theirs.

Instead, Qin Tian grabbed a floral arrangement class.

Qin Tian thought floral arrangement wasn’t bad. Usually, people who did floral arts were beautiful girls. Having a gorgeous female teacher guiding the class would be delightful, wouldn’t it?

He wondered why such a great course wasn’t popular. Only about three people had signed up!

Soon, Qin Tian found out why. That wasn’t a beauty at all—it was a two-hundred-pound middle-aged lady!

This lady also had a duck-like voice, croaking like an old goose, almost driving Qin Tian insane!

There were only three students in this elective. Besides Qin Tian, the other two were also men, probably with the same mindset as him.

“Brother, we’re doomed this time!” Chu Feiyu slid over and sat next to Qin Tian, followed by the other guy.

Qin Tian smiled wryly.

“Brother, what’s your name?” Chu Feiyu asked.

“Qin Tian,” Qin Tian replied.

“I’m Chu Feiyu, and this is Di Renjie,” Chu Feiyu introduced himself and then pointed at the other guy.

“What? Di Renjie?” Qin Tian was stunned by the name.

“We don’t have many naming taboos. Di Renjie sounds nice and meaningful,” Di Renjie explained with a smile.

Qin Tian wanted to laugh but held back, nodding on the surface.

“We’re new transfers. If only we had known the situation before choosing courses. This floral teacher is famous throughout the university town as a middle-aged woman…” Chu Feiyu pulled out his phone and showed Qin Tian a post from some forum.

Qin Tian was slightly shocked. The floral teacher was actually fifty-two? But she didn’t look it. Though somewhat unappealing, she looked only in her early forties.

She maintained herself quite well.

“I’m a new transfer too. Looks like we’re in this together this semester,” Qin Tian joked.

“Are you from a family?” Di Renjie asked.

“Family?” Qin Tian was puzzled.

“Ah, A-Jie!” Seeing Qin Tian’s reaction, Chu Feiyu immediately shot Di Renjie a glare. Di Renjie stuck out his tongue and quickly stopped talking.

Qin Tian looked at their reactions thoughtfully.

The grueling floral class finally ended. The three exchanged contacts, exchanged some pleasantries, and agreed to grab a meal sometime. As for when that would actually happen, only the gods knew.

Checking the time, Qin Tian saw it was fifty minutes past two and hurried toward the Youth Grand Theater.

Upon arriving, it was only fifty-five minutes past, and Jiang Yingying and Shen Xiaoqing hadn’t arrived yet.

“Hm?” Qin Tian squinted, suddenly noticing a figure flicker across the stage.

He sensed a faint aura of danger—a latent awareness he had developed recently.

Moments later, a graceful young woman appeared on the stage—not Jiang Yingying or Shen Xiaoqing, but a stranger.

Qin Tian stared at the sudden appearance without speaking, and the young woman also looked at him silently. They exchanged gazes for a moment.

“Sir, staring at me like this is quite impolite,” the young woman suddenly covered her face with a light laugh, shyly turning her head away.

Qin Tian scratched his ear. Sir? Me? What was this—a role play?

“You…” Qin Tian was about to speak when the young woman interrupted him.

“Sir, please don’t speak. Let me offer you a dance.”

“This dance is called the Killing Dance!”

She pronounced each word deliberately, her expression turning icy cold. As she finished, a handful of dagger-like petals slipped from her sleeve, and she launched a fierce attack at Qin Tian.

The woman’s toes barely touched the stage before she flew at Qin Tian with terrifying speed.

What kind of strength was this? That single kick was terrifyingly powerful!

Meanwhile, in a mansion in Tongyang City.

A man dressed in a white suit sat in an armchair, swirling a glass of red wine, a box of cigars on the table before him.

A classic villain’s grandiose scene.

“That useless old dog couldn’t handle a mere kid and ended up losing two disciples!”

“What a disgrace!”

The man in white sipped his wine, then set the glass down. First, a look of disdain crossed his face, then a sinister smile spread.

“To deal with this Qin Tian, the master himself must act! Digou, watch closely and see how I handle this Qin Tian!”
